Tracelytics Acquired by AppNeta

Big news from Betapring alums Tracelytics, which recently announced they're acquisition by AppNeta, a very cool network and end-user performance company.  In bringing the two ventures together, the AppNeta/Tracelytics duo is now ideally positioned to provide complete, end-to-end performance management to their customers: from the browser, through the network, to the application, and down into application code.

Today's acquisition follows a string of exciting events for the company, including a recent Series A round which netted $5.2 million in financing round led by Bain Capital Ventures. Existing seed investors Google Ventures, Battery Ventures, and Flybridge Capital Partners also participated in the round.

Tracelytics provides web application performance analysis and monitoring tools that help online businesses run faster and scale smarter. Their technology allows engineers and CTOs to analyze functionality and uncover performance bottlenecks and diagnose bugs. With smart tracing across the full application stack, Tracelytics delivers true visibility and management across distributed web-applications with any level of complexity.

AppNeta has built great technology and a fantastic product around network performance management and end-user monitoring. We’ve been focusing on providing insight into what’s going on in complex, distributed applications.

And now, the newly merged powerhouse will be the first company to provide truly complete, end-to-end visibility all in one place.

Tracelytics Co-founder Spiros Eliopoulis described today's event like this: "It’s one of those occasions where aiming for the stars lands you in a distant galaxy."

True dat.

Congrats to the talented team that took Tracelytics from a dream to where they are today. We are proud of you.
