Co-Founder & CTO, Traction Software
Chris co-founded Traction Software to build power tools for knowledge work. Tools that would reduce everyday communications overhead, provide a deep and readily-tapped institutional memory, and ultimately to help organizations raise their collective IQ.
Over the past fifteen years, Traction and its TeamPage product has won many accolades, including the InfoWorld Technology of the Year, Red Herring top 100 innovaters, and KM World Trend Setting Products of the Year. For the past several years TeamPage has been named to the EContent 100 and KM World's Top 100 Companies that Matter in Knowledge Management.
Today Traction's customers include enterprises in many different industries, governmental agencies, educational institutions, and NGO's.
Chris recently added a treadmill to his stand-up desk and now walks between 4-9 miles while working. Outside the office he practices Ashtanga yoga and enjoys sailing, riding his eGo electric scooter, and-- now able to catch a wave -- is working on his bottom turn.
Chris has Bachelor of Arts and Master of Science degrees from Brown University.
