Mike Grandinetti
Mike Grandinetti is a serial entrepreneur / CXO across five successful software start-ups, including 2 NASDAQ IPOs and 5 trade sales (strategic acquirers include AT&T, Iron Mountain, Oracle and Symantec.) Earlier he served as a strategy consultant with McKinsey and began his career with HP in Silicon Valley. He is currently the Managing Director of Southboro Capital. He held a long standing affiliation with MIT as Senior Lecturer at the Sloan School and as a Judge in the MIT $100K. He is an active mentor in Tech Stars, the Founders Institute, TCN, SeedCamp Europe and IBM SmartCamp. He is also an active mentor and judge in the Mass Challenge. He is a long-standing faculty member at the Technical University of Denmark and is an Academic Fellow at Sitekit Labs UK, which focuses on leading edge healthcare IT research and serves on Rutgers University’s College of Engineering Industry Advisory Board. He is a frequent keynote speaker and panel moderator both in the US and internationally on subjects including university tech transfer, next generation business and go-to-market models, branding, cloud computing, connecting start-ups with CIO ‘s, going global and raising angel and venture capital. He is a long-standing member of the Corporate Executive Board of WGBH Public TV and radio, the flagship operation of the US Public Broadcasting System. Previously he co-chaired the business development committee and currently co-chairs the nominating committee.
